Tunnel downtime deduction while POP was down
Shadow Hawkins on Friday, 04 February 2011 01:26:01
Hi folks,
I was docked 5 ISK due to my tunnel not responding to ping for two days, however for at least some of that time, IEDUB01 was down. Are there plans to automatically suspend tunnel healthchecks for tunnels homed on POPs which are experiencing issues?
Thanks,
Murali.

I believe the same may have happend to me.
Looking at the details on the tunnel page that suggests that my connection hasn't been up since wednesday however I can ping/traceroute out from my network via IPv6 with no problems.
I've not made any changes to my IPv6 system for several months. The only change I'm aware of is that the POP was down for a while a couple of days ago.

I have been docked twice now. Is the ping checking on iedub01 broken? I have changed nothing on this end, the only "change" to the tunnel recently has been the downtime on your end.
My tunnel is most certainly up since I am currently using it and I can ping my IPv6 addresses from elsewhere on the Internet.

The pingcheck was not properly restored after the hardware failed and was replaced + reinstalled.
