Tunnel T24641 (AYIYA) not working (again) (again)
Shadow Hawkins on Tuesday, 02 March 2010 13:39:50
Hi,
I'm having again (for the third time ;-) ) the same exact problem described in ticket 1344182, here: https://www.sixxs.net/tickets/?msg=tickets-1344182
I commented on it but you probably haven't been notified. I'm opening a new ticket because of this. A partial copy'n'paste from that ticket follows, again, the problem and symtoms are the same.
Please note that the other tunnel I have with the same PoP is FAR more stable...
Here I have some output from aiccu in verbose mode:
Feb 26 16:54:56 popper aiccu: sock_getline() : "200 Succesfully logged in using md5 as RIP1-SIXXS (Riccardo Iaconelli) from 2001:960:800::2"
Feb 26 16:54:56 popper aiccu: sock_printf() : "tunnel show T24641"
Feb 26 16:54:56 popper aiccu: sock_getline() : "201 Showing tunnel information for T24641"
Feb 26 16:54:56 popper aiccu: sock_getline() : "TunnelId: T24641"
Feb 26 16:54:56 popper aiccu: sock_getline() : "Type: ayiya"

Feb 26 16:54:56 popper aiccu: sock_getline() : "202 Done"
Feb 26 16:54:56 popper aiccu: Succesfully retrieved tunnel information for T24641
Feb 26 16:54:56 popper aiccu: sock_printf() : "QUIT Deer Stop"
Feb 26 16:54:56 popper aiccu: AICCU running as PID 4959
Feb 26 16:54:56 popper aiccu: [AYIYA-start] : Anything in Anything (draft-02)
Feb 26 16:54:56 popper aiccu: [AYIYA-tun->tundev] : (Socket to TUN) started
Thanks!

Hello,
I've been using tunnel T24641 for some time now. Around a week (I can't tell precisely) ago it suddenly stopped working. The computer is an Archlinux box.
Now aiccu says that it is connected, just like always, as you can see here:
[root@popper ~]# aiccu test
Tunnel Information for T24641:
POP Id : ittrn01
IPv6 Local : 2001:1418:100:31b::2/64
IPv6 Remote : 2001:1418:100:31b::1/64
Tunnel Type : ayiya
Adminstate : enabled
Userstate : enabled
and
[root@popper ~]# aiccu version
AICCU 2007.01.15-console-linux by Jeroen Massar
However, I get a 100% packet loss when I try to ping from this side of the tunnel to the rest of the world. I can ping myself with no problems.
I seem to have the exact problem described in this similar ticket.
some more additional output:
[root@popper ~]# traceroute6 2001:1418:100:31b::1
traceroute to 2001:1418:100:31b::1 (2001:1418:100:31b::1) from 2001:1418:100:31b::2, 30 hops max, 16 byte packets

I've already tried what is listed here FAQ but with no luck.
I'm on AYIYA, I'm synced to pool.ntp.org and there's no firewall in the way. I haven't changed the configuration, and it's the same one as when it was working.
State change: resolved
