Last night i thought i had managed to setup IPV6 tunnel on my router, which seemed to work for a while but the router then wither had a series of ddos attacks or became unstable.
causing it to repeatedly reboot around 35 times between 8 pm and midnight. i eventually disabled the IPV6 to try and avoid the problem the reboots would caused because i did read the setup rules and and how the credits work.
i think the DDOs attackers have given up so please can you re enable my tunnel so i can try and set it up again.
also do you have any assistance for setting it up as acciu on a Vigor Draytek 2830?
PS my clock sync is in place.
Many thanks.

What kind of DDoS attacks? Unstable in what way?
i think the DDOs attackers have given up so please can you re enable my tunnel so i can try and set it up again.
Who was DDoSsing you and why?
Note that you should check your log, you have obviously entered a wrong TIC password, your Draytek though is contacting our TIC server every second which could cause a DoS on *OUR* TIC server.
Please contact Draytek at support@draytek.com and reference Ticket#2012100510000145 in the subject. They know what this is about and that they should have resolved it over a year ago.

Hi in the past i have seen routers in general they become unstable on ip stack and because i am new to the IPV 6 arena and trying to teach it to myself, and because my router is normally stable until i tried to configure ipv6. i think the ddos was just chancers from because i am on a dynamic ip address from NTL/Virgin media cable.
It seems to have all stopped.

What version number and date does that firmware have?
Also why is Draytek not pushing to all their other affected customers?
I've force-unlocked it, but do notice that if it starts hammering again it will automatically be blocked again.

You do realize that your Draytek is attempting a DoS on our TIC server by repeatedly logging in?
Please resolve that. Configuring the correct password would be a good start.

Hi, I have been working with Draytek, and they have tested my settings and provided me with step by step setup as well as a new beta firmware.
Because I could not get it to work and when they connected to my router and tried your Windows AICCU client and found the following information
"Trying to connect to TIC server tic.sixxs.net
sock_getline() : "500 Blocked from TIC service: too many queries. Fix your clien
t; contact info@sixxs.net for more info"
TIC Server is currently not available
Couldn't retrieve first tunnel for the above reason, aborting "
Please can you help?

You are performing too many queries, hence why you are blocked.

Right i will go back to Draytek, as at this time IPV6 is diabled on my router so that i was not hammering the servers.
Have you got a Logs you can send me to forward on to them please?

Is there a way to send you a Screen shot to prove that it is disabled?

We do not keep logs of items that keep on repeatedly hammering on our servers, they just get ignored and further blocked.
We can take your word for it that it is disabled, you are not the only user with these issues.
Draytek does not seem able to fix their product that they are shipping out to people around the world.
