Endpoint change and scheduled downtime
Shadow Hawkins on Tuesday, 07 February 2012 16:02:12
The WAN link used for tunnel T83434 is to change. The endpoint of the WAN connection is being moved to a new building (100 yards away). There will be a downtime for 5 days when the old link gets terminated but before the new one goes live.
We find the outage unacceptable but are powerless to avert the outage.
We will request a change of endpoint once the new WAN connection is operational.
Is it possible to place a hold on the failed ping penalty during this outage.
Thanks in advance,
Joanne.

Please note that the ticket system is for when there are problems with the service provided, not for when your side has an issue.
As for your question, you can disable and move the tunnel through the webinterface, just click on the icon/link in the tunnel list and all options are there.

I'm very sorry Jeroen,
I really did not intend to waste your time. The warning below the buttons caused us to not risk clicking them in case we did something that was irreversible. I didn't realise we could disable the tunnel and then re-enable it.
That is great. I have already disabled it and will change it's endpoint and then re-enable it as soon as "a certain ISP" has fixed our WAN.
I hope it is not a problem but when I clicked the disabled button I got a webpage error. The tunnel shows as "disabled" state, but I thought I'd mention what happened just in case.
Thank you very much, once again.
Joanne.
