Can't change v4 endpoint address
Shadow Hawkins on Friday, 16 April 2010 19:11:30
Hi,
I have switched my provider but cannot update the static v4 endpoint address of my tunnel T19643 through the sixxs.net website interface. Old endpoint is 83.236.228.205 and inactive. New endpoint is 212.202.117.203. When trying the change under "Tunnel type/endpoint" through the sixxs.net site I get the error "Tunnel is already of that type" without any change. PLease help me to change the endpoint address. My handle is DP5308-RIPE.
Thanks,
Dimitri Puzin

Hello Jeroen,
meanwhile I "fixed" the problem by changing tunnel type to 6in4-heartbeat and back to 6in4-static with new IP address 212.202.117.203 That helped me to gain the connectivity back again.
However I've tested by switching to 6in4-static with IP address 83.236.228.205 This failed as described above yet again :(

It works fine for me otherwise. Can you provide more details?

I have read and followed the "Reporting Problems" section on the Contact page.
I am removing these five pre-filled lines to demonstrate that I really read it.
I am providing the full details as requested on the mentioned Contact page.
If I do not remove this, then please ignore this message as I didn't read it anyway.

Hello Jeroen,
I've retested and it works for me now as expected. Thanks again.
