hi,
when i have a linux machine, connected via aiccu to the network, may i use more IP-Addresses than only my ::2/64?
For Example to use two IP-Adresse for two different HTTPS Server?

If you mean your tunnel /64, then you should know that only <tunnel>::1 (PoP) and <tunnel>::2 (You) are actually used.
If you need more IP addresses, request a subnet (or if you are on decgn01 you might be lucky and already have a default routed /64)

hi,
yes, i know only two addresses on the tunnel are used. But if only the webserver is needed to have more ip's, why should i "waste" a subnet?
unfortunatly i am not on decgn01.
so may i use also the ::3/64 from my tunnel or is this not allowed?

As it is not routed, it will not work.
HTTP has this awesome thing called "Virtual Hosts" support, where the Host: header is used to determine which Virtual Host the request is for, thus you don't need more IP addresses for that.

NameVirtualHosts does not work for SSL (in hindsight, HTTP should have used TLS, but too late now). HTTPS could be the next IPv6 killer app (mobile devices are the current Ipv6 killer app).

See RFC2871 for exactly that. Rarely used though as there is this scare factor that the browser might not support it and then the server side won't start using it either. A nice Chicken & Egg issue just like IPv6.
