This is not an urgent post since my isp changed my ip and i have to wait one month until i can apply for a subnet, but how do you configure the dns service in 2003 server to reply to ipv6 queries. also how is it done technically to insert a in ptr for ipv6. if that is what you call a ipv6 reverse?

I have got the following subnet: 2001:7b8:312::/48
I use 2001:7b8:312::/64 in for my network here at home.
little HOWTO how I setted up reversed DNS with my Windows 2003 server.
I made a reversed DNS zone: 0.0.0.2.1.3.0.8.b.7.0.1.0.0.2.IP6.ARPA which corosponds to: 2001:07b8:0312:000
below this I added subdomains and ptr records corosponding to the full IP
example [2001:7b8:312:0:20a:e6ff:fed6:20b4] <--> server.ipv6.rharmsen.nl:
maybe it can be done easyer and better but this seems to work fine for me.

I am gratefull for any kind of response. But i kinda knew that it would work if i sat it up like that. but my intention was to set it up a bit more "professional" where maby the subnets were correspondant to each segment of the ipv6 address. or maybe even as pretty as ipv4 where you have only the last segment of the address as an 'editable' subnet. if you get my draft?
