reverse DNS without subnet?

Hello!
Is there a good reason to not being able to enter a reverse
DNS entry for a tunnel, which could then be served by you?
With the late ipng.org.uk TSP this was possible, and I feel
a little bad to request a /48 for one(!) machine.
Thanks in advance!

With 281.474.976.710.656 /48's available within the IPv6 address space, don't feel too guilty :D

And I could always throw a tunnel myself to a friend
who sits at the same hoster (internal traffic doesn't
cost)... I guess I'll just do that then.

You can have reverse if you dont have subnet. It's free so use it. And use it visely. Dont abuse and everything will be ok ;) As far as i know giving /64 (if you request subnet) to your friend is not abuse... But here will still be problem with reverse.

Well, I've finally found a creative use and requested
the subnet.
I'll be throwing an OpenVPN tunnel from the dedicated
to myself, giving me one IP on the "LAN" (tap interface)
and a whole /64 out to my laptop.
Nice to have IPv6 _and_ encryption, when being out of
the house - think IRC nickserv passwords...
