DIR 615 RevC Issues
![]()
I'm currently using the DLink DIR-615 RevC which has Ipv6 support. I've set it up and it looks like it is connected but it doesn't seem to be allowing me access to any IPv6 sites. I've done some searching but can't quite figure out what I've done wrong.
Here's my IPv6 page under the Status section.
IPv6 Connection Type : IPv6 in IPv4 Tunnel
Network Status : connect
WAN IPv6 Address : 2001:4830:1600:212::2/64
IPv6 Default Gateway : 2001:4830:1600:212::1
LAN IPv6 Address : 2001:4830:1600:212::1/64
LAN IPv6 Link-Local Address : fe80::222:b0ff:feb3:641e/64
Primary DNS Address : none
Seccondary DNS Address : none
Any help would be appreciated.

if "WAN" is your tunnel, and "LAN" is your local network, then you are doing it wrong.
LAN has to have a different network than the tunnel. For this you need a subnet (you'll get a /48) and take a /64 out of that.

Hmmm... if that's so I have a problem :( I can't change the /64 or at least I don't think I can.

That's the page and how I have it setup.

It has a nice box labeled "LAN IPv6 Address", there you need to fill in a /64 out of your subnet (thus not the tunnel address space)
