AVM FRITZ!Box 7250 "Subnetz berprfen"
![]()
Hi,
I'm using the AVM FRITZ!Box 7250 with IPv6 Labor Firmware 54.04.94-15316.
My Sixxs Home shows a enabled Tunnel and an enabled Subnet. The tunnel-type is heartbeat and the subnet is attached to my tunnel.
I've made a screenshot of my fritzbox ipv6 settings: http://skitch.com/empi/nb4me/fritz-box.
My fritzbox is trying to connect but the log shows this error: "Internetverbindung IPv6 (SixXS Tunnel) ist fehlgeschlagen. Subnetz berprfen" (internet connection with ipv6 sixxs tunnel failed. check subnet).
I've already googled this but the only hint i've found is that I have to register/request a subnet.
thanks in advance,
regards,
Peter

I've got the same problem here with the lastest IPv6 firmware of the Fritz!Box 7270.
You need a subnet and a tunnel at the *same* time. Without subnet there's no tunnel. Vice versa does not work!
But the ISK system prevents the request of a subnets because after creating a tunnel the credits are exhausted :-(.
I've informed the SixXS staff without success.

See the Credits FAQ which gives ample of possibilities for getting enough credits directly at signup time.
Of course, when one is wasteful of credits that opportunity passes.
Note also, that in the original posters case he has indeed both a tunnel and a subnet.

Is it possible to add a xing account by hindsight to get more credits, then.

Yup,
On the page with the explanation of ISK's it says so, on this page you have the contact-details:
https://www.sixxs.net/contact/
BTW: I noticed you edited the FB7270 page, the international version of the FB7270 is updated to the same version as the German one. So they seem to be on @ the same level.
