Where do these A6 seekers live? What software do they use?

Hi,
I just migrated from bind to pdns on a server and one of the interresting things I noted in the logs is the amount of A6 requests still going around.
I was under the impression the search for A6 records would be over by now. But it seems there is still software out there looking for the obsolete.

Where do these A6 seekers live? What software do they use?
There will always be old software that didn't get updated, nothing to do about that, and why would one care, there will also always be clients asking questions they should not ask for.
