[Mac / Mavericks] Configuring a tunnel fails

Hi,
I am having some trouble setting up my AYIYA tunnel on a Mac.
I'm following the manual steps, provided at the Apple Mac OS X subpage. I installed the required tuntap driver as well as AICCU from brew.
I start by defining the gif0 interface and activating it.
sudo ifconfig gif0 tunnel 93.103.96.62 212.18.63.73
ifconfig gif0 up
ifconfig gif0 gives me:
gif0: flags=8051<UP,POINTOPOINT,RUNNING,MULTICAST> mtu 1280
tunnel inet 93.103.96.62 --> 212.18.63.73
then I do:
sudo ifconfig gif0 inet6 2001:15c0:65ff:7e3::2/64 prefixlen 128 alias
sudo route add -inet6 2001:15c0:65ff:7e3::1/64 -prefixlen 128 2001:15c0:65ff:7e3::2/64
The tunnel should now be up and running, however I get the following error after the sudo route add ... command:
2001:15c0:65ff:7e3::2/64: nodename nor servname provided, or not known
What am I doing wrong?
Of course, all of this is weird to me, because it is stated at the manual page that those steps only apply to static proto-41 tunnels and AYIYA tunnels require AICCU.

Why are you configuring a static tunnel if you intend to use AYIYA?
Of course, all of this is weird to me, because it is stated at the manual page that those steps only apply to static proto-41 tunnels and AYIYA tunnels require AICCU.
That is correct, you do not need to do any of that.
AICCU handles everything. The only thing you need to do is install tun/tap driver and start aiccu with the 'start' argument after having filled in the configuration file.

Of course, I feel so stupid. :) Thank you Jeroen.
I installed the tun/tap driver through Homebrew.
The script told me to execute the following:
sudo cp -pR /usr/local/Cellar/tuntap/20111101/Library/Extensions/tap.kext /Library/Extensions/
sudo cp -pR /usr/local/Cellar/tuntap/20111101/Library/Extensions/tun.kext /Library/Extensions/
sudo chown -R root:wheel /Library/Extensions/tap.kext
sudo chown -R root:wheel /Library/Extensions/tun.kext
sudo touch /Library/Extensions/
However, immediately after the last command (touch) is executed, I get a pop-up telling me that the kernel extension was not properly installed: the pop-up can be seen in this image.
But I have a feeling that this is not the issue of AICCU.

While I adore homebrew, I've never tried installing the tun/tap driver through it.
As per the FAQ, we suggest using: the tun/tap driver for Mac OS X by Mattias Nissler
Though, you might want to file a bug report at Homebrew's github about this so that they can have a peek at the problem, as it should just work.
