Safari on Mac OS X
[de] Carmen Sandiego on Sunday, 11 January 2009 22:21:49
Hi, it seems Safari prefers IPv4 over a IPv6 on a http connection, but IPv6 instead of IPv4 to the same host on https. Is there any way to change this behaviour for http? Thanks, Thomas

Safari still prefer IPv4, even where there is only the IPv6 domain. IPv6 in Firefox worked perfectly.

I just got Aiccu working on my laptop and Firefox at least will use the IPv6 tunnel, as indicated by go6.net. Though it looks like a partial autoconfiguration interface, the front of the IP is what it should be. Safari does use the tunnel on my system, and I'm using Leopard 10.5.6.
