Using network-manager (in Ubuntu) with IPv6 and VPN

I found a bug in network-manager, reported here in Launchpad.net: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager/+bug/156209
If you have v6 and v4 on the same interface and run a VPN, and then disconnect the VPN the IPv6 on that interface is gone.
