hi there, here is an ipv6 patch for suck, quite commonly used nntp fetcher. the patch adds ipv6 support to suck, rpost and testhost at once. all these commands get new -4 command line parameter which disables ipv6 operation. useful when hostname resolves to both address types and ipv6 is not desirable. (not recommended though ;) host:port format for numeric ipv6 addresses is also supported with [hex-ipv6-addr]:port syntax. the patch is available here: http://www.bacza.net/files/suck-4.3.2-ipv6.patch since this is my first ipv6 patch, any comments are welcome :) tested on linux and solaris. regards, jb.
