aiccu Couldn't set interface name
Shadow Hawkins on Tuesday, 23 January 2007 14:29:09
Hi everybody,
due to firewall/NAT problems I changed my tunnel from static to AYIYA. I consequently installed aiccu 20070115 but after aiccu start I get the following from syslog:
Jan 23 14:12:23 ik1rac aiccu: Succesfully retrieved tunnel information for T10530
Jan 23 14:12:23 ik1rac aiccu: AICCU running as PID 17159
Jan 23 14:12:23 ik1rac aiccu: [tun-start] Couldn't set interface name to sixxs: Invalid argument (22)
In tried to find any similar problems on the net but no luck. Has anybody any idea ?

Do you maybe already have an interface called 'sixxs'? See 'ifconfig -a' output. If you have one, delete it first (ip tunnel delete sixxs); or change the name of the interface in the configuration file.
